Runners must raise a minimum of $100 to participate (the $25 registration fee counts towards your $100 minimum.) If you raise the $100 minimum by 6/12, we will mail you your race bib and t-shirt before the race.
5:00 am – Check-In opens at Liberty State Park (Runners will receive an event t-shirt and race bib)
6:00 am – Ferry screening begins at Liberty State Park ferry terminal
6:45 am – Ferry departs for Liberty Island (Please note: This is the ONLY boat taking runners over for the race!)
7:15 am – 5K Begins
8:15 am – Awards Ceremony on the Plaza
8:40 am – Food court opens / 1st public ferry arrives at Liberty Island
9:20 am – 1st ferry departs for Liberty State Park
Runners can explore Liberty Island after the race and take any public ferries back to Liberty State Park.
Raise the $100 minimum to participate by June 12th to receive your race bib and t-shirt in the mail.
Directions and Parking
Use the resources below for getting to the race, where to park, and what your course will look like. SP+ Parking manages parking at Liberty State park and charges $7 per car daily. Whether you are driving or using public transportation, we’ll get you there to enjoy a beautiful Independence Day morning with Lady Liberty!
